And so we look forward to this weekend:
Three Camogie finals, and two minor hurling semi-finals:
Juvenile Camogie
We wish all the best to :
U13 Camogie - They contest the Division 2 Championship final when they travel to Mobhi Road to play Na Fianna. That's on Sunday, 30 October, throwing in at 2:30 pm.
U15 Camogie - Who go to a neutral venue: Trinity Sports Complex, Santry on Saturday (29th) where they'll meet Naomh Maur in the Division 3 final. Throw in there is 2:30 pm.
U16 Camogie - who have a home Division 2 final encounter against Cuala on Sunday (30th). Throw-in is at 3:30 pm.
Minor Hurling
Both Minor hurling semi-finals are home affairs, with them playing back to back. A good opportunity to get out and support:
U19 Hurlers who open proceedings at Ard Scoil Rís when they take on Faughs at 11:00 am Sunday (30th) in the “B” championship semi-final.
U17 Hurlers throw in at 1:30 pm in the “B” championship semi-final; This is against Round Towers Clondalkin and will be played on PNU2.
Wait. There's one more!
The U21 Footballers OPEN their Championship campaign this Thursday (27th): They travel to Pairc Ciceam to play Ballymun. Throw-in is at 7:45 pm.
Right folks - I think we've covered everyone and we hope to see you out in support. And remember, there's also a full range of U8 to U16 games to watch out for. We list them all on our fixtures page.
Was there also some mention of a league?
OK. While not technically championship, you might want to know about these: The tail end of the football leagues are also being played this weekend. So a couple more games. Don't expect me to do this every week, all right? Otherwise, this newsletter would never end!
Tomorrow, Wednesday 26th sees the Intermediate Footballers in the first of 2 games this week: They play at home against Garda. That's on PNU2 with throw-in at 7:30 pm.
With barely a rest, they're up again on Saturday (29th), when they meet Templeogue Synge Street, away (Dolphin Park) at 4:00 pm.
Finally, the senior footballers, high from their SFC2 win will meet Ballymun at home on Saturday (5:00 pm, PNU)
