Nominations being sought for club executive positions

A Chara,
According to the constitution of St Vincents, the term held by an executive committee is two years.
The current committee were due to step down at last year's AGM but, due to the unusual circumstances presented by the Covid-19 pandemic, agreed to remain in place for an additional year.

The chair and committee will now step down at this year's AGM to allow a new committee to be voted into place. Under the club constitution the membership elects a chair and his or her executive committee as a team:
"..Executive Committee shall be elected as a team by the Registered Full Members present, entitled to vote and voting at the Annual General Meeting and shall be nominated to serve on the Executive Committee by any two such Registered Full Members"

Some members of the current executive have indicated that they may be willing to continue to serve.

Members who are interested in becoming chair or in other positions on the executive committee are encouraged to discuss this with any member of the current executive. Official requests for nomination should be sent to the Club Secretary, Anne Harrington 21 days before the AGM. Nominations via email to secretary.stvincents.dublin@gaa.ie are acceptable.

The AGM is slated for 18th November (official notice to follow), so nominations must be received by the secretary by 28th October 2021.

The current Executive Committee is made up of

  • Secretary (Currently held by Anne Harrington)
