|
| | It's hard to believe that the first newsletter this year that mentioned championship fixtures was in back July. When a number of teams go all the way, here's where we find ourselves. This weekend has a Juvenile semi-final, two minor finals, and there's the matter of a provincial competition. Members note that we'll be hosting the Leinster game this weekend, so parking, dressing rooms etc will be prioritising this game. More on this below. |

| | Big Camogie Game This Weekend - And some restrictions | |
| | | |
| This weekend sees us host the Leinster Senior Camogie Club Championship semi-final when we take on Thomastown of Kilkenny. This is a massive game and a great honour for us to be able to host. There are a number of important points to be made about this game. The game is ticketed. Supporters should note that this game is organised by the Leinster Camogie Council. All games at provincial level are ticketed. If you're planning on supporting this game, please purchase a ticket at this link. Under 16s are free, but should still grab a ticket! Dressing rooms will be allocated for the game. Our dressing rooms will be unavailable to other teams on Saturday morning until after the game. Both teams will be using the dressing rooms and need space for physios and access to showers, etc. after the game. This includes restricting access to the bathrooms on the ground floor. Parking will be restricted. Please note we expect a large visiting crowd from Kilkenny and a coach for the Thomastown team. With this in mind, we urge any local supporters to arrive on foot or use public transport if possible. We also ask for parents of Mini League players to leave promptly once mini leagues ends. Get out and support! We hope to have big support for this game! Naomh Uinsionn Abú! 🔵⚪️🔵⚪️ |

| | Last weekend we had just 4 games in championship - let's see how we got on. Well done to the U14B Hurlers. They won the Division 5 shield, ending their champo on a high. |
| | | |
| Congratulations also to the U16 A Hurlers, who defeated Ballyboden in the U16 A semi-final (3-20 to 1-21). They are now through to the final and we've just got word that we've been drawn at home (Saturday 19th November). The U16B lads had to make do with a challenge match, as Brigids have pulled out of the “C” championship. Hard luck to the U21 Hurlers, who were knocked out of the U21 “A” Hurling championship by Raheny (0-11 to 2-14). |

| | And so we look forward to this weekend: Well, of course, there's the big Leinster Camogie semi-final. But there's more. The U16A lads, fresh from their hurling semi-final win go straight into a football semi-final, when they meet Castleknock at home at 3 pm on Saturday (12th) on PNU2. Both minor teams are in finals, which are on Sunday (13h). The first of the two games see the U19 Hurlers contest the “B” Championship final. That's on Ard Scoil Rís at 11:00 am on Sunday where they'll welcome Commercials. |

|
| | | Later that same day, at 1:30 pm, the U17 Hurlers are away in Pairc Barróg when they meet Naomh Barróg in the U17 “B” Hurling Final |

| | | I was sent this photo of a back garden from a mother a couple of weeks back; It was shared on condition of anonymity. I think there's an element of modesty at play, and secretly she's probably proud of both how well the back garden is kept, and also the outstanding job being done with the jerseys. |

| There's no chance of what happened in Carrigallen happening in this Vins team. |
