| I think this week will be short and sweet. Santa made two appearances last weekend, and all eyes turn to the Camogie semi-final at the weekend. |

| | It's membership renewal time |
| Keep an eye out folks, you'll be receiving your renewal e-mails in the coming days. |
| | We had two visits from Santa over the weekend. The All-Stars marked their end of the season with a visit from Santa. Santa's helpers had prepared a lovely grotto for him in dressing room 4. Santa even made time for the transition-year students who have volunteered with the all-stars this season. |
| | Poor Santa seemed only gone, when he was rushed back to the club on Saturday morning where he arrived by Fire Brigade, and took up his place in the main club hall. Packed to the rafters, it was; great excitement all around. |

| | Guest of Honour at the Saturday Members Meetup | |
| Avid readers may remember an “and finally.." from a few weeks back where we received some photographs sent in by Josephine Fitzpatrick, a niece of Father Fitzpatrick, one of the founders of St Vincents. This weekend Ms. Fitzpatrick took us up on an offer to come to see the club and meet with some of our members. She picked a great weekend to come too - with plenty of excitement around Santa's visit and our monthly meeting of our established members. Much to her delight, she met with people who remembered Fr. Fitzpatrick well. |
| | | Final year project study - adult players survey | |
| We receive requests like this from time to time. I hope you can help. If you are an adult player, this survey won't take up much of your time. This one is from Laura Baxter, a final year Psychology student at NCI. She says: "I’m a final year psychology student from the National College of Ireland. I’m carrying out research on the Relationship Between Self-Talk Engagement and Performance Anxiety in GAA Players.
I’d really appreciate it if you could share this link to the adult players from your club, as they have to be OVER THE AGE OF 18 to participate. The survey will take them 5 minutes to complete.
I’ve been playing GAA with St. Patrick’s from Stamullen/Julianstown, Co. Meath for many years and I’m really interested in the psychological side of sport, so it would be greatly appreciated if you could encourage your adult players to complete the survey and if they wish they can share it with others who play GAA." Please take the 5 minutes to help. The survey is here. |

| Mainly challenge matches being scheduled, and even at that only the odd one. The Jackie Gilroy tournament started last week, and will continue this Saturday and next. This is a football tournament for U12 to U16, with skill-based games, managed by our senior footballers. |

The game is ticketed Nothing new here, but remember that the game is ticketed. If you are going, you can purchase a ticket here. |

|
| The game will be streamed live. If you can't make it, the game will be streamed live on YouTube. Here's the link for that. Due to a commitment clash, I'm afraid I won't be making this and will be trying to catch the stream. This means I can't provide score-by-score updates for this game. My apologies to those who rely on this. I would like to take this opportunity to wish the Camogie team and management all the best for the weekend. |

| I was sent a couple of snaps of an avid Camogie-loving doggo, who is getting herself ready for the big game at the weekend. I'm sure she'll make an appearance in St Brendan's park to cheer on the girls. |
