Other results from last week
The bad weather meant a lot of postponed games last week, but some games did go ahead:
Commiserations to the Minor Camogie team who were defeated by O'Toole's on Monday night (3-3 to 1-5) in the Division 5 Championship semi-final. My apologies to the team, mentors and parents for not mentioning this game - there was some confusion around if it was going ahead. I understand that the home advantage was ceded quite late in the day to allow the game to proceed.
Hard luck also to the U16 Camogie who were beaten in the U16 Div 2 Shield by Naomh Mearnóg on Sunday. Final score was 1-7 to 3-9.
Also disappointment for U14 Camogie team who were also defeated in their Shield final by Ballyboden (5-7 to 2-5)
.The U14 boys also bowed out at Shield final stage when they lost by a single point in the Div 1 Shield final against Templeogue Synge Street. Final score was 1-5 to 0-7.
