Leagues are coming to an end

Plenty of teams are coming to the end of their league campaigns; It'll be a short break, and then all eyes will be on championships.
We're all building up to the big party on Saturday night.  The Champions league final will be on D'telly, Radio DJ Phil Cawley will be on the decks, playing music for the 20-somethings to the 40-somethings. (and beyond!).  €15 is the entrance fee and remember, you'll be supporting the Ladies footballers.  More on this below.

Camogie Referee Course Coming Up

Dublin Camogie are running a referee's course (attendees must be over 18) for Camogie referees. Please note that this open to men and women.  The course is a foundation course, and once compelte, refs can officiate at camogie games in the 13-16 age group.
The course is in two modules; The first module is Thursday 9th June 7-9pm and is taken online. The second module is in person (Abbotstown, to be confirmed) on Saturday 11th June for 2 hours.
I'm told that this clashed with the leaving certificate, but best you know this up front. If you'd like to register, drop a note to the club secretary, Anne Harrington, who will be given the registration link once it is available.

Inter-County Roundup

This weekend sees inter-county action for Dublin Senior Camogie Team, the Ladies Senior Football Team and the Senior Mens team.  We send best wishes to Aisling Maher (hot on the heels of a Player of the Match accolade last weekend), Muireann Kelliher and Niamh Hetherton who all line out for the county this weekend.
Mentors: Am I missing anyone?  if one of your players is lining out at county, drop me a mail, and I'll make sure to give them a shout out.

This weekend's action

A good win for the footballers last weekend (1-18 to 2-6) over Cuala.  Unforttunately, the Senior hurling team were defeated by the in-form Ballyboden St Endas (5-19 to 2-14)  last night. This weekend's has one senior game, when the Hurlers take on Cuala at home on Sunday morning (29th, 10:30).

And finally..

The job of a PRO sometimes involves producing promotional material for upcoming events. I hope you've caught the various posters for the upcoming party across our social channels.  Here's a rare glimpse of the creative process as I give you one of the images I decided not to post. Only readers of a certain vintage will get the reference.
