Great response so far! We'll keep this open for one more week in case we missed anyone: The Juvenile section are arranging a talk on nutrition given Dr Brendan Egan. While we know him as a senior footballer, he is also associate professor in sport and exercise physiology in the school of health and human performance at Dublin City University,
This talk is aimed at juvenile players and importantly, parents of juvenile players, but is of course open to anyone who'd like to come along.  We'd like to gauge numbers to if you'd like to come to this talk please register your interest at this link.

Walk for Ukraine: This Saturday

Next Saturday, 26th March at 11:00 am will see St Vincents host a sponsored community walk in support of the people of Ukraine.  All teams are encouraged to take part - and this walk is open to anyone; All we ask is a €5 donation for anyone who wants to take part.
The walk will leave St Vincents at 11:00 am walking out to Malahide road, doing the Collins Ave- Griffith Avenue loop, landing back in the club about 12pm. A bake sale with delicious treats and teas / coffees for sale will be in the club from 1030-1pm, headed up by Mary and her wonderful team (Cash only)
All monies raised from the walk and cake sale will be given to the Irish Red Cross to help Ukrainian people in this time of great need. We ask all mentors to support this initiative by encouraging your players and parents to take part, and to collect the monies on behalf of your team.
This walk will be attended by members of the Ukrainian Community, recently arrived.  In addition we'll be operating a collection point for refugees. We've had an appeal for toiletries, clothes and suitcases/luggage.  If you'd like to contribute, simply bring your donation to the club on Saturday morning.
In addition: Circle-K have been in touch to say they will match any monies raised by St Vincents.  The more we raise the more Circle-K will chip in!

Senior Footballer's Lunch - This Friday

The senior footballers fundraising lunch is on this Friday in Clontarf Castle.  If you'd like to attend, contact Ciaran Donohue on 087-2899240.  The flyer says €1,000 for a table, but if you ask nicely, there may be individual seats on sale!  Good line up.  Will be very interesting to hear Kevin Mc's opinion on Dublin's league form to date.  Worth the entrance fee alone?
