Your Club Update
April 15th, 2020

We'll meet again, don't know where..

Howdy folks. A short update this week due to "no change". As of today, the govenment advice is to stay at home until May 5th at the earliest.  Of course, as we've seen this is subject to change so who knows.
All club activities remain off. The club is closed until further notice. So, not much to report. If there is anything of interest, I'll be sure to put something out on our social channels Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
if you want something included in the club notes, all you have to do is drop me a mail at pro@stvincentsgaa.ie.

Hi to Mini-League Parents

I normally don't send the weekly notes to mini-league parents, as I keep an alternive mailing list for them. Once again, there's information about virtual mini-leagues, so I've kept you in. I hope that's ok!

Continuing to help those in our community

Our volunteer team is now actively helping a number of people on a regular basis at this point. Individual volunteers have been assigned to those who have seeked help to give them a sense of security and familiarity.
If you or a family member is in need of assistance, simply call or text Aoife Drumgoole on 087 947 6626 and she will co-ordinate one of the volunteer team to respond.

Online Lotto Returns

As you may know, we moved from one online membership to another. As part of this, we stopped using our previous provider for online lotto. We now have online lotto back and you can now play online at this link. Playing is super simple. Thre's 3 options:
  • 3 Months - 12 Entries for €12
  • 6 Months -  26 Entries for €24 (that's 2 Free!)
  • 12 Months - 52 Entries for €46 (that's 6 Free!)
As I'm sure you know, the club still needs funds to operate, and playing lotto is a great way to help your support of the club, whilst being in with winning a few bob!  Gwan.  Give it a go!
What's that link again ? Its here

A Message from the Whelan Family

The Whelan Family were in touch and asked if we would publish the following message on their behalf:
To all management, staff, members of St. Vincent’s GAA Club and Community,
We, the Whelan family, would like to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following our sad loss of our beloved Mark.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited our home, attended the wake, service and burial and who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. For those who travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolences as well as those who made donations to the Raheny Hospice and Cancer Society, we are truly grateful. As it is impossible to mention and thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. A mass will be offered for your intentions in the near future and for the interim I have sent a petition and lit a candle in Lourdes for your intentions.
