New membership system for next season

The club will be using a new system for both membership management and communications for next year. The system is provided by ClubZap. This includes a mobile app which can be used by everyone to manage their membership, and recieve information on individual teams, etc. The ClubZap app is available for iPhone in the App store or Android in the Google Play Store. We'll be sending out communications on membership renewal soon.

Changes to Injury Claim Administrators

The GAA have moved to a new administrator for managing the GAA Injury benefit fund. From December 1, all claims must go through DWF Claims. Full details are available on the GAA Website.

Christmas Charity Appeal - A big thank you!

We had an amazing response to our Christmas Charity Appeal.  People game in numbers to drop off donations for the homeless.  So much so, that we had to put a shout out for a van to bring the donations to ICHH's warehouse. It may look messy, but it's a stack of donations!
Thanks everyone, you've made us all proud.

Ever consider being a referee?

Coiste na Réiteoirí Átha Cliath is organising a Foundation Course for those who wish to become adult-level GAA Referees in Dublin.
The course is running in January (and is free) over 3 nights in Parnell Park.  The course dates are
  • Thursday 16th January
  • Thursday 23rd January
  • Monday 27th January
There is a particular shortage of referees in North County Dublin, and the County board are looking for new referees. If you've ever considered being a ref, why not now?  The official notice from the county board, including contact information can be read here.

Let's help to get Ailbhe some life-altering surgery

Ailbhe's O'Leary is daughter to ex player Barry O'Leary. (In fact Barry played just last week, more on that later). A sufferrer of Cerebral Palsy, Ailbhe has an opportunity to travel to the USA for some life-altering surgery. There's a gofundme set up for Ailbhe which is 75% there. Can you spare a few bob to help get her over the line?

Are you a recent "drifter" ?

Did you or one of your family used to play for Vincents? As we start to consider the new season, we're looking to reach out to anyone who's drifted away in recent times. We know how it feels, the longer you leave it, the more it may feel like it is difficult to return. But we want you back! We're always looking to add numbers to our teams, and we welcome newcomers, and people who've drifted away alike. If you know anyone who needs a nudge, please let them know they'd be welcome back. If you want to return, drop me a mail, and i'll make sure the correct mentor gets in touch.

Just one game left this weekend. Pat Gilroy's U21 footballers contest the U21 B Chamnpionship Final against Balinteer St. John at 1pm this Sunday 15th December in O'Toole Park. One more game? Sure gwan!

And finally..

Congratulations to our oldest most experienced players. An over 40s game was played last Friday on PNU2 against an over 40s side from St Margarets. The numbers were a bit skewed, so a few of our lads togged out for St Margarets. Word has it it was all played in great spirits.  Fair play lads.
